Gym Machine Knob
High-Performance Handle with Insert Molding
Black Gym Fitness required an ergonomic handle for gym equipment designed to withstand intensive and repeated use. The component utilizes insert molding technology during printing, incorporating a threaded steel insert directly into the polymer structure.
The ergonomic geometry was optimized through grip testing and user feedback, ensuring comfort and safety during physical exercise. The surface features anti-slip texture and the reinforced ABS material offers excellent resistance to impact, abrasion, and deformation under repeated loading.
The challenge was achieving impact resistance and withstanding repeated stress loads, conducting ergonomic validation through user testing, and ensuring material durability under continuous mechanical stress in the gym environment. The final component has proven reliable across months of daily intensive use.
